REvision.

Global | 2025

Brief: Update our annual trends report format to be forward-looking rather than a retrospective curation of projects. The 2025 edition of our report would be titled Re:Vision and examine six global social issues that creatives and creative work could impact.

My roles:

  • Narrative direction

  • Writing

  • Copy direction

  • Creative direction

The 2025 Re:Vision report flipped the concept of traditional trends reports to look ahead rather than toward the past. This ambitious project began with a report that outlined the premise and examined six sociopolitical challenges, technological innovations, and creative advancements. Each of these challenges was then investigated deeper in focused, bi-monthly projects comprised of custom-built microsites, essays, partner collaborations, and even podcast episodes.

As with previous Type Trends reports, my role spanned all aspects of the project, from narrative direction to writing, creative direction, podcast development and hosting, and assorted other tasks.

Here is one of the podcasts we recorded, hosted by me with guests from Bruce Mau Design and the Monotype Studio:

The Climate Chronicle, one of our activations for Hot & Wet.
